Start of QZS-6 Services

We are pleased to announce that we started the following services on the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System “MICHIBIKI No. 6 (QZS-6)” launched on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from Friday July 18, 2025. For details of each service, please refer to IS-QZSS.

The Signal Authentication Service (QZNMA) is scheduled to start on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
Also, the SBAS service is scheduled to start around October. For details, please contact the Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

Overview of QZS-6 Services

1. Satellite Positioning, Navigation and Timing Service (PNT)
- Signals: L1C/B, L1C, L5

2. Multi-GNSS Advanced Orbit and Clock Augmentation Precise Point Positioning (MADOCA-PPP)
- Signals: L6E, L6D*
*Ionospheric correction transmission started as the experimental service. Please see below for the coverage areas of MADOCA-PPP ionospheric correction data.
