Application of the interface specification for PNT service of the 5th edition (IS-QZSS-PNT-005)

We would like to announce that the plans for applying the interface specification for PNT service of the 5th edition (IS-QZSS-PNT-005) published on October 25, 2022.

Application date: Around November 2023
Satellites: QZS-2, QZS-3, QZS-4 and QZS-1R
Remarks:
-The specific date will be announced about one month before applying.
-The outage period for some PNT services is expected to be about 4 hours during
night in Japan.
-PNT service during applying is shown in the table below.
-Other services (SLAS, CLAS, MADOCA-PPP, DC Report, Q-ANPI, SBAS, PTV and SAS) are available during applying.
-This applying has no impact on existing GNSS receiver.

LNAV L1C/A Available  
CNAV L2C, L5 Unavailable -The service outage period is expected to be about 4 hours.
-The planned service outage will also be notified on NAQU.
-Transmit messages with the Alert-on and Health-bad during the service outage.
