Preparation Status of QZS-6
Plan for support of multi-frequency positioning in MADOCA-PPP and request for support of MADOCALIB v2.0
To reduce the initial convergence time of MADOCA-PPP, Cabinet Office is now developing to support multi-frequency positioning by improving the number of augmented signals and satellites. This upgrade is planned to start in early July 2025.
Prior to the start of this upgrade, we have revised some contents of the User Interface Specification for MADOCA-PPP (IS-QZSS-MDC), and the draft of the fourth version (IS-QZSS-MDC-004-Draft) has been posted.
For this upgrade, version 2.0 of MADOCALIB is also now available. Once the transmission of the upgraded MADOCA-PPP message begins, the existing version of MADOCALIB (version 1.4 or earlier) will no longer be able to decode L6 messages, so we would like to ask all MADOCALIB users to support version 2.0.
If you wish to continue using version 1.4, please modify your source code with reference to version 1.5 modified for decoding L6 messages, which is also now available.
