MADOCA-PPP：Release of the User Interface Specification IS-QZSS-MDC-005-Draft for the MADOCA-PPP Message Format Update for BeiDou Augmentation and advance distribution of the new messages

The message format for the augmentation of BeiDou satellites in MADOCA-PPP is planned to be changed. This change will allow more BeiDou satellites to be used for PPP.
Prior to this change, we have revised some contents of the User Interface Specification for MADOCA-PPP (IS-QZSS-MDC), and the draft of the fifth version (IS-QZSS-MDC-005-Draft) has been posted.

In addition, the L6 messages in the new format will be distributed in advance through the Internet distribution and the archive site, limited to L6E/PRN207. MADOCALIB, which supports the new format, will also be released in advance.
The advance distribution and the advance release are scheduled to start on October 30, 2026, and the switchover of the operational service to the new message format is scheduled for late November 2026.
The advance distribution of PRN207 does not affect the broadcast or the Internet distribution of the L6 signals from the QZS satellites currently in service. Please note, however, that the message format of the advance distribution differs from that of the signals from the QZS satellites currently in service.

Please note that, until the switchover, the advance distribution is provided prior to the start of the operational service.
