The Test Transmission of signal authentication data has now started
As previously announced, Signal Authentication Service (Navigation Message Authentication), which provides a mechanism to verify the authenticity of positioning signals as a countermeasure against spoofing, has begun the test transmission of authentication data on July 31, 2023, prior to the service launch in FY2024.
