Announcement of the operation mode switch for the PTV signal (L5S) on QZS-1R

This announcement notifies the switch of the L5S signal operation mode transmitted by QZS-1R from the standard mode to the verification mode. During this transition, the L5S signal will be temporarily unavailable due to the ongoing work.

Affected signal: PTV Signal (L5S)
Unavailable period: 9:00 JST on July 28,2025 - 17:00 JST on August 19, 2025
Target satellite: QZS-1R
Remarks:
- During the signal outage, the prescribed test signals will be transmitted.
- The PRN number of the L5S signal transmit by QZS-1R will remain unchanged before and after the signal outage.
