This multi-GNSS receiver supports the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (Michibiki), GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and SBAS. It contains an advanced kalman filter PVT (position, velocity, and time) engine for high-precision positioning even in urban areas. Everything, from an autonomous GPS L1 unit all the way to a four constellation triple frequency RTK unit, can be upgraded depending on the necessary functions. It also supports two functions: Fault Detection and Exclusion (FDE), which detects and excludes from positioning calculations any mistaken satellite signals, and Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM), which predicts times at which GPS signals will be cut off and positioning will not be available. It has a compact full metal jacket design that ensures the high quality signals are protected from the sources of electromagnetic interference (EMI) on the host platform and also significantly reduces radiated emissions. The onboard Internet connection allows for high speed data transfer and configuration via web browsers. It also supports USB and RS-232 connections.
