This is Citizen’s WORLD TIME model from SATELLITE-WAVE –GPS collection with world’s thinnest*1 watch case and fastest*2 signal reception speed — as fast as 3 seconds.WORLD TIME model receives position data and time signals sent by GPS satellites orbiting 20,000 kilometres above the Earth’s surface. It automatically analyses the time zone where the watch is located at the moment and corrects the time and date accordingly. It takes as fast as 3 seconds to capture only a time signal, and minimum 30 seconds to receive the both position data and time signal. World Time function covers 40 time zones and instantly changes the time and date with simple step. In addition, WORLD TIME models accommodate different motors for the hour and minute hands, so it takes as fast as one second to correct a one-hour time difference.
