The Test Transmission of signal authentication data (notice of close)
The Quasi-Zenith Satellite System is working on the development of a "Signal Authentication Service (Navigation Message Authentication)" to provide a mechanism for verifying the authenticity of positioning signals, and is scheduled to launch the service in April 2024. Prior to the service launch, we are transmitting signal authentication data on a trial, we would like to inform you that the test transmission will close on the following date for the preparation of the official service.
Close date (planned) : March 15, 2024
Note:
-Please note that this may change due to circumstances.
-There will be no impact on existing receivers and other QZSS services after the test transmission closed.
-Announcements regarding the official service launch will be released on this website at a later date.
