Seiko Astron GPS Solar caliber 8X Dual-Time series (from Seiko Watch Corporation)
Supported services: Satellite positioning services (L1C/A)
Release date: 19. September, 2015
Seiko Astron is the world's first GPS Solar watch in the world. By connecting to the GPS network, the Astron adjusts at the touch of a button to your time zone and, by taking all the energy it needs from light alone, never needs a battery change. The second hand also indicates the number of satellites from which signals are received. For instance, the bezel material is ceramic and a ring antenna is housed below the dial rim. This model also supports Quasi-Zenith Satellites (Michibiki).
